Welcome to CONNECT, a confidential Peer Support Program for all Virgin Australia team members. It is a network of support coordinated by peers, for peers.

 

CONNECT provides initial confidential support and a point of contact for team members who are experiencing issues at work or at home, such as stress, mental health concerns, work challenges, family and relationship difficulties, personal trauma, life balance, substance misuse or following a workplace incident.

 

CONNECT can also assist in linking team members to other internal and external supports, including Group Medical and Psychologists.

 

CONNECT Peer Support Volunteers are team members from across the business that understand and can relate to those challenges that others face in their personal lives and at work. They are trained and supported by qualified Mental Health Professionals to support the wellbeing of team members in a caring, empathetic, confidential, and non judgemental way.

 

There are over 80 CONNECT Peer Support Volunteers available to listen, support and assist in linking you to other support pathways and services as needed.

 

Seeking early support can be helpful when experiencing stress or other struggles. Call CONNECT to talk to a Peer Support Volunteer or reach out for support when at work – our Peer Support Volunteers can be identified as they will be wearing a CONNECT lanyard or pin.
